Our Language Assessment is issued to every learner upon enrollment in the eLearning program. The Assessment helps identify the appropriate starting level, and can also identify areas where the learner needs more focus - such as pronunciation or grammar.
Our Assessments are also offered as a stand-alone tool - without enrollment in an eLearning program.

The Placement Test
Ardor Learning's Placement Test features two components and is designed for the most accurate assessment of a learner's skill level.
The Online Test
The first component of the Placement Test is the Online Test. A set of 60 multiple-choice questions tests the learner's reading and writing capability.
23 of the 60 questions on the test include an audio component to test the learner's listening ability.
The online test typically takes about 30 minutes to complete, and it must be completed in a single session. There is a 60-minute time limit.
The online test is scored automatically, and results are available immediately upon completion.
The Oral Test
myAssessment also includes an oral component, in which the learner records their responses to a set of 5 questions.
The recording is then reviewed by one of our expert language teachers, and results are made available within 48 hours.
In the event that results are challenged, the recordings can be recovered and reviewed for grading accuracy.
This unique combination of human and technological intelligence is the best way to reliably test language skill.
