Job Functions:
Responsibilities:
• Conducting online Dutch language classes for adults
• Designing and implementing engaging and effective lessons to meet the learning needs of diverse adult learners.
• Utilizing various teaching methodologies and resources to facilitate language acquisition.
• Assessing students' progress and providing timely feedback to enhance their language skills.
• Collaborating with fellow teachers and academic staff to develop and enhance the curriculum.
• Maintaining accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance
• Establishing a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to effective learning
Qualifications:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills, fostering positive and productive classroom environments
• Ability to effectively explain grammar, vocabulary, and provide examples to meet learning goals
• Proficiency in creating and following a curriculum for the academic year
• Understanding of testing and evaluation methods for placement and advancement
• Experience with differentiating content and instruction within a homogenous group of students
• Dutch language fluency CEFR Level C1+
Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Dutch to adults in an international environment
