Deepak was previously President and CEO of English e-learning company GlobalEnglish Corporation, where he achieved record growth and profitability serving 500 of the Global 2,000 corporations. He has served as GM and CRO at Time Life Asia, a division of Time Warner, Inc. based in Asia and focused on education (including English language learning). Deepak has also held senior positions with Time Warner in NYC and Asia.
For over 20 years Joyce's professional and personal goal has been to help the world communicate more effectively by enablingclients to enhance their language skills and reach a better understandingof cultural differences. Prior to joining Ardor Learning, Inc. Joyce worked as National Director of Business Development at Berlitz and Global Account Executive at Pearson English Business Solutions. Working with (Fortune 500) companies to help them gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace through the use of online, on-demand, collaborative, mobile, SaaS business applications and blended learning programs. Joyce specializes in finding the right solution for each client considering their industry and market needs.
Bob has over 20 years experience working in a variety of sales and management roles in the field of English language training. Starting as an English teacher, he worked with corporations to help assess language levels and improve business language skills and overall language fluency. Bob helped build the corporate e-learning business at GlobalEnglish, holding a variery of positions in account support, sales and management. His final position at GlobalEnglish/Pearson was Sr. Director of Sales for India and Asia Pacific. Over his 20 year career, he has advised and consulted with many Fortune 500 companies including Deloitte, J&J, United Technologies and many others. He has been a Global Consultant with Ardor Learning and Oxford English since October 2017- working with global corporate clients that require a cost effective, scalable English training solution with proven results. Bob has a degree in Engineering and an MBA, and is TEFL certified.
Debbie joined the Ardor Learning team in 2017 as Director, Global Accounts and is based out of Chicago. Her career began at IBM where she was successful in aligning disruptive technology solutions to enterprises to spur growth. For more than 25 years Debbie has been working for some of the most innovative companies in the EdTech industry, including SmartForce/Skillsoft, GlobalEnglish and Pluralsight. Debbie enjoys 'working with the world' and applying what she has learned about language and digital learning to help people and enterprises achieve their goals.
André has worked in the e-learning industry for the last 30 years. Mainly in Sales and Sales Management roles for companies such as, Berlitz, GlobalEnglish (now Pearson), and NETg (now Skillsoft). At NETg he worked eight years as Managing Director for the Benelux and Scandinavia and Finland. His speciality is “Consultative Sales” (a selling method in which the salesperson spends time with the customer to understand the problem the customer is trying to solve and then recommends a solution that will specifically address that problem.). His interlocutors are found mostly in Large Multinationals and at Senior Management level.
Javier Cruz has been in the language acquisition industry for almost 25 years, where he has particularly spent the last 10 years of them helping organizations design and deploy programs to equip their talent with business English skills, cultural training and soft skills. For the last 5 years, he has primarily worked with the corporate sector unfolding SaaS/Cloud based language programs.
Hiroshi Sato has worked for the English Online Industry for over 16 years including GlobalEnglish (Now, Pearson English Business) a global pioneer of the industry, and he was the first international sales person at the company. One of his last projects at GlobalEnglish Corp. was as a leader to support Nikkei Inc. to release GlobalEnglish Nikkei edition in 2012 to 2013. He worked for computer software companies for a long time as the general manager and executive. He has experience in providing consultation and sales for enterprise solutions with computer communication software and hardware. He is interested in language acquisition with brain development, mind mapping, AI, network security and Raspberry Pi.
Hans has worked in the e-learning industry for the last 15 years, primarily in sales and project implementation. Most of that time has been spent in global distance education companies serving well-known multinational and local Chinese companies.
Madan has over 17 years of proven experience in Software, SaaS and Services Consulting areas. In his current capacity, Madan leads the Ardor Learning India’s Strategy, and is Director on Ardor India Board - overseeing all aspects of market requirements that drive solution offerings and market positioning. An Executive Strategist, Madan has a proven track record of building high-performing account teams within and as well as growing valued relationships with Enterprise Clients. Penetrating into new markets and expanding in existing ones has always been his unique capability. Madan’s wish to bring in meaningful and reliable solutions into the market fueled him to join hands with Deepak Desai. Prior to Ardor, Madan held strategic positions at Pearson, Nice Systems & AOL. Madan holds MBA Degree from Pondicherry University & Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management from IHM, Hyderabad.
Sanket has been into consulting and project management role for SaaS learning platforms that delivers on-demand courses to build Business Communication Competency across multiple geographies. He played an important role in deploying learning solutions across various industry verticals like IT/ITES, BPO, FMCG, KPO and Consulting firms. Prior to Ardor, Sanket had worked in various capacities with companies like General Electric, ProKarma & Pearson in a variety of areas including Account Management, Customer Success & Consulting. In addition, he works closely with Ardor’s Global Business Development team to provide pre-and post consulting support. Sanket is an MBA from National Institute of Management.
