My Ardor English

My Ardor English was originally developed by an expert editorial team from Oxford University Press, the world’s maximum authority on the English language. With My Ardor English learners immediately begin to communicate more effectively in English, regardless of their starting level.

Training program

Our comprehensive online English training program in four simple steps:

The course consists of 12 levels with a clear correspondence to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, ranging from A1 (Beginner) to C1 (Advanced).

Learners can study entirely in English or with the support of instructions and explanations in Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.

Levels 1 to 10 (A1-B2) provide a solid base of grammar and vocabulary while developing the four language skills – listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Levels 11 and 12 (C1) focus on building the business and communication skills learners need for immediate use in their work.

Successful language acquisition depends on four key factors: motivation, quality content, proven methodology, and effective teaching. My Ardor English offers the highest quality content that engages and entertains learners, and motivates them to study.

The course’s clear and intuitive structure and its methodology have been originally crafted by Oxford’s English language teaching experts to provide a clear itinerary for learners to reach their goals.

The tutor and virtual teacher provide additional guidance and support throughout the training program, enhancing learner engagement and achievement.

Each unit centres on a high-quality video that serves as the learning vehicle, presenting the topic, grammar, and key expressions in an entertaining and memorable manner.

Thanks to its varied interactive activities, My Ardor English equips learners with the language and skills they need to communicate and work confidently and effectively in English.

In addition to the main course contents, learners have access to indispensable study tools and resources.

Annabel, the My Oxford English virtual teacher

Virtual teacher

The virtual teacher, Annabel, introduces the topic of each unit, guides learners through the activities, and gives explanations on the language presented, as well as pronunciation tips.

My Oxford English's integrated voice recording system

Integrated voice recording system

Learners speak English throughout the course in a range of oral activities using the integrated voice recording system. A key feature of the My Ardor English methodology is simulated conversation, whereby learners interact with the characters from the videos, putting everything they’ve learnt in the unit into practice. Learners practise their pronunciation extensively, recording their voice, and comparing their pronunciation of the new vocabulary and structures with that of a native English speaker.

Oxford's Oxford Study Dictionary

Dictionary and grammar bank

Learners can access two valuable study tools integrated into the My Ardor English platform – an online Oxford learner’s dictionary with British and American English audio pronunciation, and the Grammar Bank – a quick-reference grammar guide containing clear and concise summaries and examples.

Learners also have unlimited access to the My Ardor English Campus containing an array of additional entertaining activities that boost their study in a more informal manner. In the Campus learners recycle and extend what they’ve learnt in their level of the course – a fundamental aspect of successful language acquisition. From games to quizzes, articles, travel guides, and grammar and vocabulary activities, the Campus offers learners hours of extra practice.

My Oxford English's ebooks collection

In addition, the Campus houses a library of more than 50 eBooks – graded Oxford audio-readers adapted to the levels of My Ardor English that reinforce learning and improve learners’ reading and listening skills, as well as developing their vocabulary.
